Taking a screenshot: Area, Screen, or Window

Aldoo Snap gives you three ways to take a screenshot, all under the Image menu.

The three capture types

• Area (⌘⇧7) — drag a rectangle over exactly what you want.
• Screen (⌘⇧6) — captures the full display under your cursor.
• Window… (⌘⇧3) — pick a specific app window from a live thumbnail picker.

Before you finish

While selecting an area, you can set an exact aspect ratio and size — choose a preset (Free, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 9:16, 21:9) or type exact width and height. Once captured, use the quick capture bar to Save to file, Copy share link, or Copy to clipboard — or let it open in the full annotation editor.
