Recording and editing audio takes

Audio → Recorder opens a full audio editor for recording quick voice notes.

Recording

Pick an input source, then use the record button to start a take. Play back, loop a selection, or record another take — undo (⌘Z) and redo (⇧⌘Z) cover every edit.

Editing a take

• Crop a take down to just your selection.
• Delete selection — removes the selected part and stitches the rest together.
• Silence selection, Fade in, and Fade out — applied over whatever you've selected.
• A gain knob adjusts the volume of your selection; a separate fader controls playback volume.

Finished takes get the same Copy share link option as any other capture.
